With the release of Divi Theme version 4.0, users have more control over their website design than ever. This includes the long awaited ability to customise your site logo. Using the Divi Theme visual editor, you can now control your logo’s size and placement across all of your site headers. And, like all of Divi’s features, it’s easy, intuitive, and only takes a few minutes to set up.
Read on below to see just how simple the process is.
What is Divi Theme?
If you’re not already using it, Divi Theme is one of the most popular WordPress page building themes on the marketplace. It uses a What-you-see-is-what-you-get Visual editor (often shortened to Wysiwyg) that lets you drag-and-drop site elements, previewing them in real time. It’s stacked with features to help end-users create consistent, dynamic web designs.
Updating to 4.0
If you have Divi Theme installed, it should be set to automatically download new updates. However, you can still manually update to the latest version by visiting your WordPress Updates page:
- Go to Dashboard>Updates
- Look under the Plugins section
- Select Divi and click Update Plugins
Still not updating to the latest version? Then you may need to authenticate your Elegant Themes subscription. You can do this by going to Divi>theme options>updates and entering your details into the username and API key fields.
Remember, only active Elegant Themes accounts will have access to the latest Divi versions.

Tips for uploading images
The default Divi logo image is formatted as PNG (93 x 43 pixels), but will accept JPG or GIF files as well.
Try to limit the height of your logo to 43px to keep formatting consistent with the default header values (Image width can be any length). If you wish to use a larger logo size, make sure to increase the primary menu height value and maximum logo height in the Customising menu.
And that’s it! You’ve just successfully changed your site logo using Divi Theme.
You can make further changes to placement by going to Customising>Header & Navigation and editing the Header Format.
